About Me, Brad

So you’ve probably gathered I’m a slightly portly, middle-aged chap with red hair. Let’s now dig a little deeper into my story.

Who am I, Anyway?

My life adventure started in a small town in Northern Victoria. Lockington is a blink-and-you-miss-it town, with significantly more sheep and cows than people. While Melbourne is home now, I’m extremely proud to be a country boy at heart.

What am I good at?

I love sport, I love cooking, I love travelling. But without doubt, my favourite thing is people – from around the corner to around the globe. And while it’s been incredible – and surreal – to be in the company of Nelson Mandela, Cathy Freeman, and David Beckham (sorry in advance for name dropping) it’s the everyday people that give me the greatest joy.

Because they’re us and we’re them. They’re people with hardships and struggles; people who live normal lives – if there is such a thing. And what makes everyone so fascinating is they all have their own individual story. Not only is their story unique, but it’s also worth telling.

So now you know I used to have a bad haircut, and I’m very bad at riding a horse.

But, as you’re now hopefully aware, I’m good at listening, speaking and teaching… and drinking coffee. In case you’re wondering, a strong skinny flat white is a great start!

Are you ready to work together?

Twenty-six Victorians under the age of 40 are currently in hospital with coronavirus.

Five are in intensive care. No idea when – or if – they'll make it home.

To anyone who still thinks this only affects older people:

It doesn't.

I lost my necklace containing my Dads ashes in Southsea, rose garden, pier area on Monday. Devastated doesn't come close! Desperate to find it. Please, please retweet, i don't have many followers?
